One of the things I’ve learnt after supporting hundreds of mothers is this:

We spend months preparing for birth. Very little time preparing for the woman we’re becoming.

Motherhood and postpartum is one of the biggest transformations we’ll ever experience, yet so few of us are prepared for what comes afterwards.

But imagine moving through motherhood knowing…

  • You understand what your body needs without second-guessing every meal.
  • You know how to nourish yourself, even on the messy, tough days.
  • You feel more confident in your food choices instead of overwhelmed by conflicting advice.
  • You have someone in your corner as your body and your life continue to change.
  • You’re building habits that support you for the long term, not just surviving the next few weeks.

This isn’t about arriving at some permanently thriving, perfect version of yourself. Motherhood has peaks and troughs, highs and lows. That’s the reality of it and something we all experience as mothers (no matter how picture perfect others might seem!).

That’s why I believe preparing before your baby arrives matters so much.

Not so that everything goes perfectly.

But so that you’re left not figuring it all out alone. It’s about feeling more nourished, more supported and more energised. And having confidence and trust in yourself as a mother and woman.

That’s exactly why I’m creating my new programme to help you prepare for and navigate the 4th trimester. Without overwhelm or second guessing. But well supported and well nourished. And able to trust yourself both as a mother and the woman you’re becoming.

Inside you’ll find practical tools to help you prepare for postpartum with confidence.

I’m Kimberley

Hiii, I’m Kimberley.

Certified Nutrition Consultant. Mum. History geek. Terrible cook. And someone who thinks we’ve got postpartum preparation completely backwards.

I knew a lot about looking after myself before I became a mum.

And then I became one.

Knowing what would probably be good for you and actually managing to do it when you’re exhausted, recovering and responsible for a tiny human are two very different things.

That’s a huge part of why this work exists.

My background is in nutrition, but I don’t believe postpartum wellbeing starts and ends with what’s on your plate.

Food is important..but so is sleep, recovery, movement, stress, support, your relationships and the enormous identity shift that happens when you become somebody’s mum.

I also don’t believe there’s one correct version of motherhood.

Breastfeed. Bottle feed. Mix feed.

Have the epidural.

Don’t have the epidural.

Live a bit crunchy.

Get the Botox.

Buy the good coffee.

I want you to have good information, understand your options and feel confident making the decisions that are right for you.

And when something sits outside my scope?

I’ll tell you.
